Angela K.
Knarr received her Juris
Doctor, cum laude, from
Harvard Law School in 2001.
Prior to attending Harvard
Law, Angie attended Chapman
University and graduated
summa cum laude in 1997.
After law
school, Angie joined the
Orange County office of Latham
& Watkins LLP as a litigation
associate, focusing on labor
and employment law, complex
commercial litigation, and
securities and professional
liability litigation. Angie’s
securities litigation practice
focused on representing
corporations and individual
directors and officers in
securities class actions and
derivative litigation in both
federal and state courts, as
well as merger and acquisition
litigation.
Angie's
employment law experience
includes representing
employers and company managers
in disputes involving
allegations of illegal
harassment, discrimination and
retaliation, wrongful
termination, breach of
employment contracts and
restrictive covenants,
disclosure of trade secrets,
wage and hour violations, and
workers' compensation
retaliation.
After leaving Latham and
Watkins in 2010, Angie
affiliated with Montage Legal
Group and is currently doing
freelance litigation projects
for law firms in Orange
County. In addition to
securities litigation,
business litigation and
employment litigation, Angie
also handles probate
litigation, including cases
involving wills, trusts,
estates, and asset disputes.
Throughout her career, Angie
maintained an active pro bono
practice, including
representing victims of
domestic violence through
Chapman Law School's Family
Violence Clinic. |
