Christina J. Johnson obtained her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law in 2003, graduating in the top 10% of her class, as Order of the Coif.  Christina also obtained her B.A. in Communications Studies, cum laude, from UCLA in 1998.

After graduating UCLA Law, Christina joined the Irvine office of Crowell & Moring, LLP as a Litigation & Government Contracts associate.  At Crowell & Moring, Christina handled construction and commercial litigation cases,  analyzed disputed contract provisions in construction and  public works projects, and assessed potential liability for violation of federal and state environmental regulations.

Christina then joined the Real Estate Group at Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, LLP’s Irvine office.  At Morgan Lewis, Christina represented lenders in the financing of construction projects, including affordable housing tax credit projects, drafted, negotiated and administered purchase and sale agreements for commercial real estate  transactions, represented borrowers in acquisition financing, and drafted joint venture documents for real estate developers.

Christina then joined the municipal law firm, Jones & Mayer, where she served as Deputy City Attorney for the cities of Fullerton, Whittier, La Habra, Costa Mesa and Westminster.  She negotiated, drafted  and reviewed a variety of contracts on behalf of cities and other public entities, represented cities in various administrative hearings, and researched and drafted ordinances, resolutions, and memoranda for city councils and city agencies.

Christina became a freelance attorney with Montage Legal Group in 2011, and is currently doing freelance projects for law firms in California, as well  as representing individuals and small business owners through her own solo  practice.  Christina started out life as a child actor, appearing in many hit television shows and movies in the 1980's and 1990's. In addition to practicing law, Christina currently serves on the board of directors of Friends of Long Beach Animals, a group dedicated to eliminating pet overpopulation and providing humane education to children, and still dabbles in filmmaking and acting.
