In 2004,
Natalie Gowin obtained her
Juris Doctor from New York
University School of Law,
where she was a Dean’s Merit
Scholar. During law school,
Natalie served as a Judicial
Extern for Judge Stephen
Reinhardt of the Ninth Circuit
Court of Appeals. In 2001,
Natalie graduated from UCLA,
cum laude, with a degree in
Political Science.
Natalie
began her legal career at Akin
Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP
in Los Angeles, where she was
a summer associate and an
associate in the litigation
department. When she moved to
Orange County in 2006, Natalie
joined the litigation
department of Rutan & Tucker,
LLP.
Natalie
has broad experience in
commercial and large scale
litigation including
intellectual property, secured
and unsecured lending, real
estate, trade secret, and
unfair competition matters.
Natalie handles all aspects of
litigation and has significant
experience in trial
preparation, pre-trial and
trial motion practice, motions
for summary judgment, and
conducting and defending fact
and expert witness
depositions. She has
represented companies in the
medical research and
development, restaurant, real
estate development, credit
card services, and
entertainment industries.
Southern
California Superlawyers named
Natalie a Rising Star in 2009,
2010 and 2011.
After
having her first child in
2011, Natalie left Rutan &
Tucker and joined Montage
Legal Group as a freelance
