Susie Dickman received
her Juris Doctor from the University of
Southern California Gould School of Law in
2006. While in law school, she served as a
Legal Writing Student Fellow and contributed
to the Southern California Interdisciplinary
Law Journal as an Executive Editor. Susie
earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in
English from the University of California,
Irvine in 2002.
Following a summer
internship at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter &
Hampton LLP in Costa Mesa, Susie joined
Sheppard Mullin as an associate in the
corporate department. When she relocated to
Los Angeles in 2009, Susie joined the
corporate group of McDermott Will & Emery
LLP.
Susie’s experience
includes private and public equity
offerings, mergers and acquisitions, debt
offerings, commercial finance transactions,
venture financings and corporate
governance. Susie has represented lenders
and borrowers in deals ranging from $1.5
million to $1 billion. She has also
assisted clients with commercial contracts,
routine general public company filings with
the Securities and Exchange Commission,
stock option plan administration, entity
formation and dissolution, maintenance of
corporate records, and other general
corporate matters. As the primary associate
on many deals, Susie handled all aspects of
the deal process, including due diligence,
drafting, negotiation and closing. Susie
has represented commercial banks as well as
public and private companies in various
industries, including consumer products,
industrial goods, medical devices,
healthcare, media, restaurants and venture
capital.
Susie joined Montage
Legal Group in 2011 and is currently working
as a freelance attorney for law firms and
companies in Los Angeles and Orange County.
She resides in Santa Monica with her
husband. |
